Next, go right until you reach a shaft with a red door, beam the blocks below you, and take the left door then collect the missiles upgrade. Go left to collect the Morph Ball upgrade, destroy the lone block with your beam, and roll back out. Jump into Ridley to take more damage to save a little bit of time. You can't defeat Ridley so all you can do is wait for him to whittle you down to below 30 health then Ridley will fly away. At the very last room, you fight Ridley who has the baby Metroid in his claws. The scientists are all dead and the baby Metroid is stolen.
